This section provides a step-by-step guide to manage ingredients and ingredient batches. To make the process even easier, we’ve included a step-by-step video tutorial alongside our written instructions for both web and desktop.

Ingredient Management

The “Ingredients” tab is where you can add all of your ingredients to ingrevo. Keep in mind that ingredients are a crucial component when creating both formulas and productions, so it’s important to have them entered correctly.

  1. To add an ingredient, click add Ingredient. A pop-up form will appear. Fill out the required fields and click Save. If you change your mind, click Discard to cancel. 
  2. Once saved, the ingredient will appear in the ingredients table. Here you can view, edit, or delete it as needed.
  3. To edit an ingredient, click Edit, update the details on the pop-up form, and click Save to apply the changes or Discard to cancel. 
  4. To delete an ingredient, click Delete,. Deleting an ingredient is permanent, so double-check before clicking Delete
  5. You can download your entire ingredients list by clicking CSV Export. 
  6. To view and manage the ingredient batch information, click View. This will take you to the batch tab for that specific ingredient. In the Batch tab, you can add, edit, or remove batches associated with the ingredient.

Ingredient Batch Management

Managing batch numbers in Ingrevo is optional, but it can be very beneficial for ensuring that you’re using the correct batch when creating your products and is essential for the automatic batch certificates creation module.

In Ingrevo, you have two ways to handle your ingredient batches: Via the Ingredients View Tab or Via the Compliance Tab.

  1. To add a new ingredient batch click Add Ingredient Batch. Fill out the pop-up form with the necessary details. Click Save to add the batch or Discard to cancel. 
  2. Once saved, your new batch will appear in the ingredient batches table. This table provides an organized view where you can easily manage your batches.
  3. To edit a batch, click the Edit button, next to the batch you wish to modify. Update the details in the pop-up form. Click Save to apply your changes or Discard to cancel
  4. If you wish to remove a batch click Delete. This will permanently delete the batch from the ingredients batches table. Once a batch is deleted, it cannot be retrieved.
  5. To view more details about a batch, click View. This will trigger a pop-up window displaying the details of the selected batch and any uploaded document.
  6. To manage batches across all ingredients, navigate to the compliance tab, click Ingredient Batches, from here, you can add, view edit or delete ingredient batches.
